Family
Sanne Vloet was born to Dutch parents Jos and Alice Vloet. She grew up, for a time, in Marondera, Zimbabwe,.
In the Netherlands, she grew up in Donkerbroek, Ooststellingwerf, Friesland.
She has a younger brother, Jules.

Early life
She was spotted at the age of 14 on television talent variety show Holland’s Got Talent and she was spotted by a modeling scout and contacted about beginning a career in fashion.
Although modeling was not the career path Sanne had envisioned for herself, she decided to pursue it full-time.
When she was 15 she applied for a job in a supermarket, but later quit in order to pursue her modeling career. She is fluent in both Dutch and English.
Sanne Vloet started working as a full-time model at the age of 18 she moved to Paris and lived there for a short while.
To support her career, her mother would routinely bring her to Amsterdam for her photo-shoots, and seemed to be as enthusiastic about it as Sanne herself.
Career
Vloet started her international career in Paris before moving to New York City and walked for Oscar de la Renta, Rodarte, Jason Wu, Tom Ford, Dolce & Gabbana, Bottega Veneta, Marchesa and Ralph Lauren.
Vloet walked in the 2015–2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Shows in New York City, Paris, and Shanghai respectively.
In November of 2017, she made her third appearance on the catwalk for the global lingerie brand in Shanghai, documenting her #TrainLikeanAngel fitness and diet journey on her YouTube channel.
Trivia
After living for many years in New York City, she currently resides in Los Angeles, which she prefers with her husband Max Ando-Hirsh.
Her family briefly lived in Zimbabwe.
She began her career as a gymnast, even going so far as to audition for Holland’s Got Talent at the age of fourteen.
She lives by the motto: “Lances up and do not give up!” She stays in yearlong shape with Pilates and yoga.
